Acquisitions & Investor Relations
Jay began his career at Walker & Dunlop, one of the nations leading commercial real estate firms. He worked for 2 years in the Asset Management group, working on distressed assets, then later moved to the Capital Markets division where he worked for 5 years. During that time he has underwritten close to $30 Billion in commercial real estate transactions, and closed over $7 Billion in debt and equity placements for real estate transactions in 34 states within the U.S.

For Ivory Equity, Jay focuses on underwriting new investment opportunities, reporting to current investors, and connecting with prospective investors.

He received his B.A. from Boston University in Business Administration with concentrations in Management Information Systems and Finance. Later receiving his professional certification from MIT in Real Estate Finance and Development.
Naresh Patel
Asset Management & Capital Raising
Naresh began his career by acquiring and operating small businesses in the Northeast. Early in his career he focused on scaling like-businesses through acquisitions, eliminating redundancy's, and extra operational costs. He began this career 20 years ago through a creative partnership where he built sweat-equity and later through diligent cost cutting and acquisitions was able to begin acquiring real estate.

Fast forward 20 years through multiple partnerships, JV's, and capital raises for real estate deals. He has continue to actively manage the portfolio for Ivory Equity with the same diligent mindset of focusing on diligent management, boots on the ground, and focusing on pouring into great talent to help build a lasting business.

For Ivory Equity, Naresh maintains an active role in maximizing returns from the real estate portfolio by actively managing the property managers, advising on acquisitions and dispositions based on our ability to execute realistic business plans, and raising capital from bank relationships and long term investors.

The Ivory Story
The Ivory Companies began as a collection of small businesses and real estate investments that were acquired over a 20 year period. This began with the investment in recession proof retail businesses like Liquor Stores, Cannabis Manufacturing and Dispensary's, as well as community staples like Gym's and Gas Stations. Through multiple partnerships and successful exits we've made sure to always have boots on the ground, invest in what we know, and where we have expertise. Seeing an opportunity in 2010, we ramped up our Acquisition of commercial real estate, and built our real estate services around our in-house portfolio.

In the past 7 years, Ivory Equity, the real estate arm of the company, has raised JV capital for our new construction projects, mixed-use properties, and apartment complexes. With the addition of team members, and expansion of our broker relationships we have built a large pipeline of deals in our Target Markets. The Ivory Companies, include a property management firm, partnerships with an insurance company, and partnerships with contractors that allow us to get the best rates in our market, which we in turn pass on the profitability to our investors.
We continue to offer opportunities where we co-invest alongside our investors, and will always have "skin in the game" with any deal presented to ensure we have alignment with our investing partners.
